Has it really changed that much? The answer, in short, is yes. The business world would appear upside down to former titans of industry like Henry Ford and Andrew Carnegie but I like to think they wouldn’t make any less of an impact now then they did in their time. This infographic is made especially for all the bosses out there. Nobody expects you to be perfect, but they do expect you to do your best. To honestly do that, you need to identify your weaknesses and do whatever you can to improve upon them. This infographic does a great job of pointing out some of the easiest errors to make as a leader, and it tells you how to stop making them.

That’s why I really liked this infographic. It takes a look back on how the work world has changed and covers how labor day was started. If so, you likely sat through at least a day of employee orientation, filled with management lectures, videos from corporate and, worst of all, those posters filled with acronyms. W.A.S.T.E.O.F.T.I.M.E.”
I just stumbled across a really interesting article from Fast Company about an artist who made the busy corporate culture a little more fun. If you’ve ever worked in a larger organization you should be able to appreciate the subtle details in these illustrations/infographics.

Yesterday I wrote about the essential rules of branding or Branding 101. Today I found an infographic that does a great job of visualizing the branding process. Your brand is essentially the identity of your business. It is what people expect of you and it’s the gut feeling they get when they think of you. That’s why it’s incredibly important to brand on purpose. That way you have a goal of what you want those thoughts and feelings to be. There’s a lot of planning and strategy that goes into the brand before you even build your logo and from there you have no shortage branding chores to finish.
